Today's youth are forced to grow up too fast, their childhood stolen by the heavy demands of an adult world.
They gaze ahead, fearing a future they didn't create.
This portrait, cloaked in black, captures the shadow of depression when a child is no longer allowed to be a child.
I intentionally chose mature, black attire to visually age her, stripping away the innocence of youth.
