These tailing ponds are located in Western Australia and are a product of waste produced from mining. The colours and shapes vary according to the type of mineral being mined for example gold. aluminium , copper , etc. The temperature is also a factor causing different rates of evaporation and creating some fascinating abstracts . These tailing ponds are constantly changing , thus making for many interesting images.
