Since the 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck Changsuo Township, Dingri, in January 2025, I have tracked its recovery for 18 months. This series documents the profound shift from rubble to renewal. My May 2026 return captures the completion of permanent homes and the vibrant return of social life. By juxtaposing images of early trauma with current flourishing, this project honors the indomitable spirit of the plateau people. It is a visual meditation on healing, proving that even in the shadow of Everest and under extreme duress, life prevails and blossoms anew.
