In a territory moving at two speeds, Piedmontese villages are emptying in a silent migration with no return. The elderly remain, last guardians of a fading memory, taking with them the lives that shaped our present.

Yet, by rediscovering forgotten places, life returns. As we gaze upon them, echoes become distinct voices; fragments of memory come alive to reveal their secrets. This project documents the void of places where the past is still visible—a tale of two worlds: one that conquered, and one surviving because the distracted world ignores it.

I was born in Turin in November 1981.
I am not a professional photographer, I am an employee since 2004 in the field of electronic testing.
My first approach to photography was when I was still a child, attracted by the magic of the darkroom.
In 2018 I attended the first photography course, the growing interest in the world of image led me to continue training with other courses and workshops, which changed my way of seeing and telling by images.
