From our position atop of a kopje we watched a rocky landscape dotted with thick drylands vegetation light up in a dramatic, vibrant display of fiery reds and pastel oranges. Before you could take it all in the Kenyan sky transitioned to the more subtle purples and lavenders, just before the sun's last rays were swallowed by the inky blackness of a new night.
