Obedient — Inheritance of Silence explores how expectations placed upon women are quietly transmitted through family structures. The series stages four generations within carefully constructed domestic scenes, where gestures of care blur with subtle forms of control. Hands guide posture, adjust bodies, and shape behavior, suggesting how obedience is learned through repetition rather than force. Through restrained compositions and symbolic actions, the work reflects on how silence and compliance become inherited within generations.
