"In-between: Fragments of an Evolving East" explores the silent collision between ancestral traditions and the relentless flow of global modernity. At 4,500m on the plateaus of Ladakh, these frames capture a world in transition. A nomadic child gazes into an uncertain future while ancient rhythms meet the arrival of solar panels and motor vehicles. Through a cinematic lens, this series documents the dignity of those suspended between two eras, where a plastic barrel becomes a new artifact of millenary heritage. A poetic inquiry into the resilience of the human soul.
Daniele is an Italian documentary photographer focused on the intersection of ancestral tradition and global transition. Through a cinematic lens, he explores the "In-between" states of the human condition, from the high-altitude nomads of Ladakh to the sacred streets of India. Recently shortlisted for the All About Photo Awards (juried by Steve McCurry) and selected for the Treviso Photographic Festival, his work is characterized by deep visual dignity and the poetry of light. He documents the resilience of communities navigating a rapidly evolving world.
