These photographs were made over the course of a single day documenting ranch work in Colorado for TrueWerk.

Rather than focusing on the clothing itself, I approached the assignment as a character study, observing the physical demands, repetition, and problem solving that define a day of manual labor. The work is constant and often solitary, shaped by the land, animals, and tools.
