The work is my nod to Dalí and the beauty of controlled unreality. A portrait with a dual form that doesn't allow the viewer's eye to settle and destabilizes perception. The symbolism of multiplicity and layered identity without an explanation. A scene that is composed and deliberate, even though what’s happening shouldn’t logically exist. The house, the apples, the moon are all familiar things behaving in unfamiliar ways and help to destabilize reality even further.
