Ramadan in 2025 is marked by grief for Palestinian evacuees in Doha, separated from loved ones and their homeland in Gaza. Since the war began in October 2023, tens of thousands have been killed or injured, with more than 38,000 children orphaned. Over 1,400 Palestinians, many seriously wounded, have been evacuated to Qatar and now live in temporary housing. Once a time of family unity, Ramadan now highlights loss and distance. Yet through prayer and reflection, many hold onto faith and hope for reunion, finding resilience despite displacement.
