A quiet dock extends into a lake held in suspension between night and morning. Three empty chairs face the rising sun, arranged like an invitation that has not yet been answered. Mist softens the horizon, dissolving the boundary between water and sky, while the light blooms slowly across the surface, turning reflection into atmosphere. This image lingers in that brief interval when the world feels prepared for human experience, yet complete without it—a meditation on waiting, belonging, and the gentle promise of beginning.

For as long as I can remember, nature has been my companion. I grew up exploring the waterways of the Midwest and the mountain ranges of the American West. These places shaped me — not just as memories of childhood, but as sacred spaces that planted a lifelong curiosity about the world beyond the horizon. For me, art is a spiritual practice — a bridge between memory and imagination, between grief and gratitude. Each photograph is an invitation to slow down and connect with the soul of a place.
