Fondamenta is inspired by Watermark (Fondamenta degli Incurabili) by Joseph Brodsky and by a personal bond with Venice. Architecture is treated as a symbolic structure rather than a document of place. Isolated buildings emerge suspended between water and sky, transforming the idea of foundation into a fragile threshold. Through post-photographic construction, the series explores memory as an affective space where time, emotion, and imagination converge.

Filippo Belletti is a visual artist who uses photography as material for the construction of the image. Working with imagery since 2010, his research focuses on translating memories, emotions, and inner spaces into suspended visual landscapes. His practice is rooted in post-photography and digital art, where photography is transformed, manipulated, and recomposed beyond its documentary function. He lives and works in Verona, Italy.

Awards In 2025, he was selected by MOHO Gallery to participate in Lucca Art Fair and was awarded second place at the Refocus Black & White Award conceptual no-pro, also receiving several honorable mentions in international competitions.
