This work is a photographic exploration that intersects the traditional Japanese temporal cycle of the "Zodiac" with personal memory, indigenous beliefs, and the concept of "reversibility" in clothing.

The subject depicted is not a specific individual. It is an embodiment of a divine or spiritual entity, stripped of gender, age, and the very concept of a living human being. While utilizing the method of portraiture, I capture these images as a "record of the otherworld," existing at the opposite pole of daily life.
