Steel, reflections, and linear rails shape a tunnel where the city’s movement becomes visible.
People rise and descend through the same space, briefly sharing a direction before separating again.
Ordinary and almost anonymous, their presence gives the architecture its scale and breath.
Rather than focusing on individual stories, this work observes a larger rhythm—
how a built interior can cradle, guide, and absorb human flow.
In that quiet cycle, the city feels less like a place, and more like a living body.

I am based in Japan and have made photography my life’s work. Photography has become inseparable from my everyday life and breathing. In urban spaces I look for subtle tension and faint tremors beneath the surface rather than spectacle. In portraiture I seek fleeting expressions and gestures that reveal inner states instead of ornate backgrounds or staging. I work with restrained composition and careful tonality, leaving space for viewers to project their own memories and emotions. For me, photography is breathing quietly with the world and an ongoing struggle with my past self.
