Buddha Fishes, taken in Bangkok in 2025 is from my SERENITY project, which is part of my ECLECTIC series which is a ten-year project of double exposure photographs of Street Environments of different cities, nature, countryside and beaches from around the world.


SERENITY focuses on the calmness, colours and all the elements that transmits piece of mind, quietude and stillness that makes these places unique. All pictures were taken with a 35mm and 120mm Analog cameras using a 100, 400 and 800 ISO colour film and applying the Double Exposure technique.

Alexandro Pelaez is a Venezuelan photographer based in London who initially started his professional career in Advertising in Florida, USA. Having moved to London in 2001, Alexandro has worked over the years on various photography projects with different clients in the UK, Latvia, Germany, Italy, France, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Mexico and USA.

Recently, Alexandro received the 2nd place award by the IPA International Photography Award 2019 in New York in the category of: Analogue/ Film, Other.
