This work reflects my personal experience of relocation and prolonged instability. Migration reshapes identity not as a single event, but as an ongoing state of uncertainty - financial, emotional, and existential. The figure appears fractured because stability is constantly postponed, and the future remains undefined. The cracks represent internal divisions formed while adapting to new environments, languages, and expectations. Red threads hold the figure together, symbolizing the effort required to remain whole while living without a sense of permanence. This portrait captures a moment when i
