This series is a self-portrait of my journey, overcoming adversity in the dark, discovering the limits of humanity and the essence of the soul. Midway through the journey, a mountain landscape symbolizing life's splendid illusions and solace is captured in media art. The journey culminates in "Myeongjeong," designed by architect Seung Hyo-sang. The red walls symbolize the "earth," the source to which we return, and the calm waters mark the boundary between this world and the next. Through the reflections in the water, I define death as a sublime return, where the self and the world become one.

I am a 67-year-old housewife and self-portrait artist.
Rather than chasing fleeting moments,
I focus on capturing the tranquility and sublimity of beings quietly enduring the passage of time.
I seek to document the essence of objects and space, and a warm gaze toward humanity that becomes even clearer in the twilight of life.
