Nature acts as both, a catalyst and a mirror for mindfulness. Its beauty and serenity draw us into the present moment, allowing us to let go of our worries and find a sense of peace. The profound interconnection between the psyche and the natural world creates a sense of stillness within us, helping us to quiet our minds and focus on the here and now. This calming influence helps to reduce stress and anxiety. Our nervous system relaxes, our heart rate decreases, our stress hormones decline, and our immune function improves. In short, green meditation nurtures our physical well-being.
