When we think about the Asian representation, we can approach it from some points in the relationship: the Orientalism, imagined “Asians”and each real nations in Asian areas, and physical and psychological distances between this representation and individuals tackling it. So the Asian representation is a multilayered theme including connection and tension. I try to express not only issues related to this representation but also an aesthetic form in it through the reflection and refracted images on a table, a photographic subject through the glass, and the complex of geometrical patterns.
