Baroque is a fine art portrait series exploring identity through theatrical presence and symbolic staging. Shot on 4×5 large format film using natural light, the work embraces slowness, imperfection and physical presence. Masks, gestures and poses create tension between concealment and revelation, echoing classical painting while remaining rooted in the contemporary. The warm tonal palette results from analog processes and light filtration, allowing each image to exist as a quiet, timeless object rather than a spectacle.
