MIA_MORPHOSIS is a visual exploration of Miami’s architectural landscape, captured through the lens of formal abstraction. The series investigates the intersection of light, color, and volume, stripping iconic structures of their purely functional roles to reveal their geometric essence.
By utilizing the harsh, defining light of the tropical sun, the project transforms urban surfaces into a rhythmic sequence of pastel tones and sharp shadows. The result is a dreamlike reinterpretation of Miami’s heritage—a dialogue between the historical Art Deco soul and a contemporary minimalist aesthetic.
