This is one of my favorite places. It is said that nearly 770 years ago, a renowned Japanese monk visited this site while on a journey. As the sun sinks into the sea, I imagine that he, too, may have been gazing at the same view. What might he have felt in that dusk?

Shuichiro Kawasaki is a fine art photographer whose work has received widespread recognition in international competitions. At the core of his practice is an exploration of the essence of phenomena, human emotions, and inner thoughts. Through his subjects, he seeks to reveal the essential elements that lie beneath outward appearances. Particularly in his seascape series, this exploration evokes a sense of timelessness that transcends the conventional perception of time, ultimately exploring new possibilities of visual sensation through the medium of photography.
