I couldn’t place who he was. Was he a wanderer, a wayfarer, or a pilgrim? He came from one distance and kept walking toward another, clothes worn thin, his gaze steady. As he passed the stone wall, the light seemed to gather around him. Even the brick lines, with their seams and angles, spoke of order, echoing his quiet resolve. Framed by the arch, he felt almost saint-like. This moved me most: whatever the label, grace can walk in rags, and a saint may be walking among us.
I’m currently a master’s student in Boston. When I graduated from college, my father gave me his old A7R3 as a graduation gift. And that’s how my journey into photography began.
This is now my third year behind the camera. I’m still learning, exploring, and discovering new ways to see the world through photography. I’m grateful to be part of this community and excited to share and to learn from fellow photographers.
