This editorial is a meditation on quiet presence, developed in close collaboration with Vallie Plagirafe. From the beginning, the work was shaped through dialogue—between photographer and model, body and flower, intention and intuition. Melancholy is not introduced as a theme but allowed to surface naturally through restraint. Through reduction and silence, the work resists explanation. Light, form, and space hold the emotional temperature steady. In this balance—between model and amaryllis, control and surrender—the editorial finds its completeness.

Pascal Uehli, born in Zurich, is a photographer with a strong focus on black-and-white photography. For him, this medium is the ideal form of expression to portray people and their stories with authentic immediacy and character. His travels have shaped his perspective and repeatedly lead him to projects that connect personal experience with universal themes.
