Aquora continues the narrative of Transitum – a photographic concept that focuses on the transition between permanence and transience in a series.
In Aquora, mist hangs over the water and dissolves the landscape into a soft silence. The gaze follows a silent river whose direction remains hidden. A quiet journey emerges, weightless in the transition from moment to moment. The river opens up the space to the left and right, making time and movement appear indeterminate.

I work with analog photography, using large-format cameras.
I am fascinated by what happens when time, light and silence interact.
The slow pace of work demands patience and attention. It opens up space for perception.

I find my inspiration in nature, in the immediate surroundings, in transitions of light and weather, of proximity and distance.
I am not interested in the spectacular, but in the inconspicuous, the quietly present.
I consider myself a painter of light.
