It was a summer evening in Paris, a woman was standing on Le Pont des Arts, tearing up a handwritten note and throwing it into the River Seine. The moment felt too personal, too raw, to photograph her face. But as I lingered, I noticed her elegant dress dancing in the wind, and that’s when I took the shot.
