Children without childhood

In Allahabad (Prayagraj)-India, we may find the confluence of the two holy rivers Ganges and Yamuna which attract millions Hindu people in each Kumbh Mela Festival.
I found this boy with a deep look seeking alms to the tourists, in my travel to India in 2023, and I cannot remain indifferent to this look!

I was born at Porto city (Portugal) in 1957 and I lived there till I was 15 years old. Along all those years the interest for the photography was always present as in the act of photographing, as in participation in workshops or in school (2 years of Professional Photography Course). What I love most about photography is its limitless ability to communicate and be universally understood, no matter where we’re from or who we are.
