2025. France. Normandie. Rade d'Antifer.

The Antifer harbor, is an oil terminal for supertankers whose construction began following the closure of the Suez Canal during the Six-Day War and was completed eight years later when the canal was reopened. The blurred aspect of the image is caused both by the falling rain and the grain roughness of the Minox lens. It gives the image an unsettling, out-of-time, ambiguous feeling.

After 35 years as an amateur, I've decided to join the professional photography world. After a long spell doing mostly travel photography, for the past 6 years I focused on analog-based landscape photography. This practice was an introspective quest aimed at reconnecting with myself and exploring my emotions. I am currently completing a creative documentary course with Spéos Photography School and Magnum Photos in Paris. My main interest is to document climate change and the energy transition. I will pursue landscape as a purely creative endeavour.
