The story begins, in a family home among the courtyards of a small village. Every season, they cross woods and streams to reach the high pastures where the cows find fresh grass. For this family, moving the animals from the hills to the mountains during the summer season, a practice known as transhumance, is more than just a job: it is a deep connection to the land and their roots. A series of photographs that bear witness to stubbornness, tenacity, and the slow passage of time, describe the essence of tradition, but also the current meaning of the deep relationship between man a nature.
