It was early evening on a bustling streets in Delhi when I noticed a young boy by a vegetable cart, his slightly hunched shoulders revealing his vulnerability. He stared into the distance lost in thought and oblivious to my presence. All I could see was his small frame distant and guarded, as if shielding himself from the world. When he turned I clicked the shutter. Though his face was unseen the moment captured his burdens—far heavier than the cart he protected. This poignant scene resonated with me as a parent reminding me of the invisible chains we impose on our children: chains of
Capturing emotions is one the most important parts of my work. I feel strongly about making photographs that i can connect with. Even though it is the emotions of my subjects that i am documenting, I find a reflection of myself in them. My love for the unexpected and candid moments gives me the ability to find visual order within the chaos of the world and an unparalleled creative vision. I love creatively capturing the weird and wonderful fleeting moments as they unfold in front of my eyes. Photography is the love of my life and traveling is like blood in my veins.
