In 2025, Taiwan’s firefighter team—the Taiwan Pioneers—competed in the Ultimate Firefighter event at the World Police and Fire Games, winning the nation’s first-ever team gold medal in the 35+ Men’s Team category!
The competition tested the athlete’s power, speed, stability, firefighting skills, mental resilience, and teamwork. The most inspiring moment came when they defeated the powerhouse team from the Czech Republic, long dominant in firefighting sports. This marks a major breakthrough for Taiwan in competitive firefighting and a historic milestone for the nation’s firefighting community.

I started my photography journey at 17, evolving it from a passion to my profession. Initially drawn to dragon boat sports as a photojournalist, I focused on capturing rowers' expressions during races. Over 8 years,I've specialized in dragon boat race photography, aiming to share the profound beauty of this oriental sport with a wider audience. When my subjects view my photos and witness their own resilience and strength, it seems to inspire them to embrace new challenges with greater courage.
