Lars is a rabbit rescued from a laboratory. Laboratory rabbits are subjected to various tests from birth, ranging from cosmetics to medicines and vaccines. After a year of involuntary service to humanity, they are killed. However, Lars, thanks to the Polish activist organization Labrescue, was saved from death and found a new home. In the shadow of the serfdom nightmare, the rabbit rescued from the laboratory symbolically becomes the new owner of the inheritance, the new “count,” thus disrupting the established class divisions and anthropocentric values.
