The "Gordian Knot" is traditionally a symbol of unsolvable riddles and contradictions.
In this artwork, it represents metamorphosis—transforming based on each viewer’s perception.
To some, it may appear as a bagworm; to others, it recalls Kandata hanging from the spider’s thread in Japanese folklore.
This ambiguous image reflects the inner narratives of each viewer, inviting personal interpretation.
Through engaging with an unanswerable question, we hope new perspectives will emerge.
