Under the new American presidency the United States government has implemented reductions in all services and programs. Ironically the local food store also had reduced the price of American flags. This
gave the ingredients for a photograph that gives an interesting social statement.

Guntis Lauzums is a visual artist residing in the United States.
He uses abstract and minimal concepts in his fine art photography.
He exhibits locally, nationally, and internationally. He has participated in over 100 juried shows his work is in the collection of the World Latvian Museum (PLMC)in Cesis Latvia as well as private collections
