The old site of the old Domino Sugar Refinery in the Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York City, has been converted into a beautiful park. On one of my visits there, I saw children playing with water. I wanted to catch a photo when the sun was well-paced in the frame. Then, the hand of a parent walking toward the children happened to frame the setting sun perfectly, and I made the shot.
Photography allows me to share the world as I see it—a visual candy store filled with moments worth capturing.
My friends often describe me as passionate about order. For me, photography is not just an art form; it’s also a tool for understanding, structuring, and simplifying the world around me.
In my street photography, I aim to capture candid moments that intrigue, amuse, or provoke thought while maintaining a formal and aesthetically pleasing composition. My key ingredients are Life, Lines, Light, and Luck.
Awards Tokyo International Foto Awards – 2024 TIFA – Honorable Mentions for “Three Ways of Seeing” and for the Series “Ghosts of the Streets”, both in the Category Street Photography, and for "Fishing for Brown Trout", in the category Minimalism.
Paris International Street Photography Awards – 2024 PISPA – Gold Medal for the series “Order in Motion” in the category Golden Hour (series), Grand Winner for “Reflections of the 50s”, also in the category Golden Hour (singles), and Honorable Mentions for the three singles, “Missed,” “Skaters,” and “Will he Make it?”, as well as for the series “The Art of Conversation”.
B&W Photo Awards -- B&W 2024 – Special Mention for “Self-Portrait”. This image was also selected to be projected at the “Les Nuits Photographiques de Pierrevert” festival. Also, three Honorable Mentions.
