This project explores the spirituality and authenticity of the Bolivian Andean cult of las ñatitas, a tradition where people keep skulls of the deceased at home for protection. The project examines the duality between the intimate relationship believers have with las ñatitas and the public celebration of Dia de las Ñatitas, held every November 8 in La Paz cemeteries. It begins in the homes of four individuals who share their experiences, and continues by documenting the festival at the La Paz General Cemetery.
