The series "Silent Witnesses" is a visual diary of war reflected on the facades of Ukraine's historical buildings. Each structure in the photographs is an architectural monument, whose beauty and cultural value are currently hidden beneath layers of protective plywood or metal shields. These temporary barriers are symbols of a time when art and architecture are forced to remain silent, protecting themselves from destructive blasts. The boarded-up windows cry out for help, as beneath their armor lies the vulnerability of cultural heritage and national identity that must be preserved.
