On long winter nights, thousands of crows and other corvids gather to roost near Alexanderplatz in the heart of Berlin. Slow shutter speed panning shots reveal glimpses of them sailing through the air among city lights, while street lamps and car headlights illuminate their social gatherings on the ground. These photographs call into question concepts of Nature as something separate and distant from human-engineered urban spaces.
