Young women of the nomadic pastoralist Wodaabe tribe carry-out daily tasks in their temporary cattle camp in the Sahel region of Chad Central Africa. These young women follow traditional marriage and family customs of Wodaabe culture including child rearing amongst the various wives. The Wodaabe practice polygamy with men often having two or more wives and many children, which is seen as a sign of male strength and pride.
