Wing-barred Piprites are part of the flycatcher family and live in dense forests in the Amazon basin and the southern part of the Mata Atlántica rainforest of southern Brazil The dark large eyes form part of their perfect adaptation and enable them to efficiently hunt in the semi-dark. A stunning yellow eye-ring highlights the large eyes even more.

The broad diversity and beauty of nature is breathtaking if you allow yourself to dive into it. For me, it is even some form of meditation. And many times, it’s the little details like color combinations, feather patterns that make smile broadly.

I’d love to show you some of it though my lens, my pictures. My name is Anja and I am a non-pro photographer based in Switzerland.
