This photo merges Tokyo's urban design with beautiful cherry blossoms, a symbol of new beginnings as spring starts Japan's school and business year.
Despite the cool air, two people step forward together energetically at lunch. Their close interaction and lively gestures perfectly capture Tokyo's vibrant spring spirit.
To enhance design, I used a medium telephoto lens from directly overhead, flattening perspective of the crosswalk and blossoms. A fast shutter speed froze their dynamic moment.
I'm deeply passionate about Tokyo's cherry blossoms; I photograph them intensely all season.
