In the weeks before the 2015 Nepal earthquake, I arrived with dozens of film rolls and a traveler’s quiet anticipation.
I wasn’t drawn by the peaks, but by its vivid colors, layered culture, and the gentle rhythm of daily life. I wandered through Kathmandu and Pokhara, capturing quiet moments.
Over a decade has passed. I often revisit these images, now fully developed—fragments of places and scenes I miss, some of which no longer exist. Through film, I unknowingly preserved what time has since taken away.
