Light in Monochrome Architecture

This series depicts the silent beauty of the light reflected in architecture when viewed through a monochrome lens, aiming to evoke a spiritual reflection within the viewer.

Based at New Delhi, India, Prarthana Modi studied photography at Central St. Martins School of Art & Design and The School of Black & White Photography, London.
A creative photographer, she captures all her images on conventional silver halide (black & white) film, only and her images are sold as limited edition, archival prints.

The choice of black & white is because Prarthana likes to see the starkness of the situation, in the image - colours distract her from this.

She has exhibited her works in solo & group exhibitions in India as well as London, Paris, Shanghai, Amsterdam, USA & UK.
