In the mountains and plains of western Iran, in the Kurdistan region, there are hands of people who speak the language of peace. These hands have been linked for years, not for war, but for dance, for hugging, for reconciliation and love.
In Kurdish culture, hands are not just for work or movement, they are carriers of meaning. In greetings and everyday life, these hands are a way for wordless conversation.
In this culture, women are not just spectators or companions. They are the keepers of traditions, colors, and joys. Their clothes, gestures, and even silence are part of a larger narrative.
I am Maho
Born in 1985
A freelance photographer based in Iran - Tehran
I studied art at the Isfahan Fine Arts Academy and have been involved in various artistic activities for 25 years and my main income is from photography.
I have a (Higher Art Degree) from the Ministry of Culture and Art of Iran
So far, I have had more than 10 solo exhibitions in Iran, Germany, India and the UAE.
And I have participated in more than 150 group exhibitions in Iran and twenty countries around the world
