Algorithms are everywhere, interpreting our personal preferences, analyzing our choices and decisions, streaming us into manageable data bites, and adjusting the shape of who we are to what best fits their needs. These works embody the tension of both doing something delightful and also recognizing the sinister shadow of being pressed into a pre-form mold.

These pieces are made from photographs composited, blended, and constructed. Various elements are combined and manipulated, reshaping their form just as the algorithm reshapes us.
