The series transforms Star Wars Stormtroopers, icons of anonymity and uniformity, into soccer players with armors clad in the liveries of famous teams. Each portrait, made with hyperrealist precision, fuses colors and sponsors to the surface of the armor, creating a visual short-circuit between sci-fi uniforms and sports tribalism. Soccer, chosen as a universal language, is deconstructed: its symbols become visual algorithms that transform bodies into vehicles of imposed meanings. AI enhances this paradox: the more perfect the image, the more it reveals its artificial nature.

Italian X Generation artist born with a passion for visual arts and the darkroom, he has reinvented himself several times since the 1980s. In this new project (and under a new pseudonym) he manages surrealism with an AI trained with fashion ADV, movie stills, design archives and photo workshops. This “obsessive collaboration” with technology creates images that question identity in the digital age. Charlie Photobot is a report about the social algorithms that propose codified realities. Motto: “Artificial intelligence does not create worlds, but shows how ours is encoded.”
