On the streets, I see individuals existing alone. They may appear lonely or silent, yet we can never truly know the world within their hearts.
This series captures moments of being with oneself, and I believe solitude is not emptiness, but a form of completeness.
DENG, CHUNG-FU is a music composer who, after finishing his scoring work, picks up a camera and walks the streets to capture the moments that catch his eye. Having long worked with sound and image together, he became fascinated by the silent nature of photography—where emotion must be conveyed without sound. This “silent narrative” shifted his focus to rhythm and detail within the frame, allowing him to discover a new sense of observation and creative freedom in the streets.
