Portraits of persons belonging to the Kyrgyz ethnic group, one of the many ethnicities living in Central Asia. Despite the communist era, Kyrgyz are still attached to their traditions. Some still follow a semi-nomadic way of life, others still practise the traditional arts ( literature, music,...).
