Basic training is a critical transition from civilian to military life. For the girls, it is vastly different from the learning and lifestyle one experiences before high school, and marks a major turning point in life. During this period, one of the toughest challenges for the girls is the temporary separation from family and friends. While they have the support of officers, squad leaders, and fellow trainees, it’s natural to feel anxious and uneasy inside as they face significant physical and emotional challenges.
