Polímero is a visual exploration of synthetic beauty, emotional suffocation, and symbolic erosion. Through sculptural plastic textures and controlled light, the human body becomes a fragile surface—encapsulated, desirable, and disposable. The series reflects on the silent violence of perfection and the cost of identity under artificial aesthetics. Each image reveals a tension between intimacy and control, breath and concealment, evoking a contemporary iconography of restraint, longing, and transformation.
Marco Samaniego is a Mexican photographer, creative director and visual artist whose work explores the boundaries between the human body, materiality, and symbolic transformation. With a background in advertising, digital marketing, and political communication, he brings a multidisciplinary vision into every project, blending conceptual narratives with high-end editorial aesthetics.
